A third generation greyhound breeder and trainer, Tes Randle Jolly of Tuskegee, AL, grew up on a farm close to animals and nature. Blessed with parents who shared their love of hunting and appreciation of the beauty of the outdoors with their children, Jolly developed the skills necessary to get close to wildlife at an early age. A new career of outdoor writing, videography and still photography began seven years ago after her marriage to noted outdoor videographer, Ron Jolly.

An avid hunter with bow and gun, much of Jolly’s work naturally focuses on hunting related and wildlife photography but includes scenics as well. In addition to prints for framing, publishing credits in national magazines include Outdoor Life, North American Hunter, Deer & Deer Hunting, Turkey & Turkey Hunting, Turkey Call and Arkansas Wildlife. Regional credits include Outdoor Alabama, Alabama Wildlife, Southern Ponds & Wildlife and Alabama Living. Jolly is also published in a number of previous and upcoming hunting or wildlife related books by Alabama Wildlife Federation, North American Hunting Club, and noted outdoor writers Michael Hanback and Brian Lovett. Jolly is an active member of Outdoor Writers Association of America and Southeastern Outdoor Press Association.

Jolly is especially proud of her Native American heritage to which she credits  her deep respect and intimate relationship with the natural world. Passing on the hunting tradition and the joy of the outdoors to women, children and disabled individuals is an important goal accomplished through her work with the Alabama Becoming an Outdoors Woman and Wheelin’ Sportsmen programs.

Available for outdoor photography projects, Jolly can be contacted at 334-727-4327 or by email at tesjolly@mindspring.com.
